6 Ways To Use Rose Water For Face Acne

There are many reasons that acne occurs. Factors like genetics, clogged pores, hormones, stress, allergic reaction, friction (could be from wearing a mask), etc cause acne. Listed below are a few ways, where you can reduce inflammation and soothe your acne-prone skin.

1. Use It As A Toner

Rose Water As Toner

Toning your skin is one of the important steps of your skin-care regime. Using a toner right after your cleanser helps to maintain the pH level of your skin. It also helps in controlling excess oil and sebum production, which if not done, can often lead to acne breakouts.

There are many toners available in the market, which contain some percentage of alcohol in it. Alcohol tends to over-dry your skin.

Pure rose water has ph balancing properties, and it also hydrates your skin. Use it daily or at least 3 times a week to see visible results.

2. Use It As Facial Mist

3. Rosewater As A Cleanser

Rosewater As A Cleanser

Rosewater helps to eliminate the dirt and dust on your skin, but can it replace your regular market cleanser? Yes! Of course, it can.

All you have to do is, mix some fuller’s earth (also known as Multani mitti) with rose water. Mix it until you form a smooth mixture. Apply it on your face with clean hands and massage it gently. Focus a little on the oily regions on your face. Let it sit for about a minute or two and then wash it off very gently.

Multani mitti or fuller’s earth helps in removing excess oil and sebum from the pores and rose water helps with the inflammation if it occurs.

4. To Remove Makeup
